This is a mainly pictorial record of a Two Centre Holiday based at Harrogate (2 nights) and Durham (3 nights) organised by Rail Discoveries in May 2018. Day One was
the journey from Bicester to Harrogate (via Leeds).
Day Two was a trip by train to York (via Knaresborough) including a visit to the National Railway Museum. Day Three saw the transfer from Harrogate to Durham
including a trip on the famouse Settle & CarlisleĀ Railway. we travelled by road from Carlisle to Durham with a stop to view thje Angel of the North Monument near Gateshead. On Day Four
we enjoyed a walking tour of Durham followed by a Visit to the Weardale Railway. Day Five was a whole day visit to the famouse Beamish Museum. On Day Six we returned homeby railto Bicester via
York, Sheffield, Derby, Birmingham and Banbury.
